“Smile”
An homage to jazz legend Paul Desmond, features Warren Hatfield on saxophones and oboe, with strings. The recording session was conducted by internationally renown composer, arranger and conductor, JOHN CACAVAS who also contributed four brilliant arrangements. Other arrangements are by Brent Pierce, Roger Myers and Warren Hatfield. In addition to the string section, Hatfield is supported by pianist TOM RANIER, guitarist TOM HYNES, bassist ADRIAN ROSEN, drummers/percussionists JIM COFFIN and DAN HATFIELD, trumpeter JIM LINAHON, trombonist JEFF TOWER and features a marvelous vocal group on “Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans?” The tunes are all classic standards.

“deja vu”
The "deja vu" Orchestra is a local (Phoenix, AZ) professional ten piece group of which Hatfield is the musical director and chief arranger. This popular group performs for special events, concerts, award shows and corporate conventions as well as for dances. The music ranges from the swing era to rock and includes a variety of styles—from Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington to Barry Manilow and Booker T. The CD is a veritable musical “pastiche” and includes guest vocalist Shirley Haarhues.
